Hike to Hubertus Chapel –
from Jägerheim via the Spruce Forest Trail. This short, atmospheric hike begins at Jägerheim in Kaunertal and initially follows the valley trail out of the valley. Shortly after Hotel Tia Apart, a narrow path branches off – and this is where the real nature experience begins. The path leads you about 1.1 km through a fairytale spruce forest, slightly uphill and downhill, past moss-covered boulders and through quiet, shady sections. The atmosphere is quiet and enchanted – ideal for a short break from everyday life.
At the end of the path, you will reach the Hubertus Chapel, idyllically situated and a beautiful place to rest or quietly reflect. From there, you can either return the same way or continue along the valley hiking trail.
Tip: It is especially beautiful in the early morning when the sun's rays shine through the trees and the forest is bathed in golden light.
