From the western shore road of the Gepatsch reservoir, past breathtaking views of the lake and the imposing Kaunergrat mountain range. The trail takes you from the reservoir to the Nassereinalm, from there to the Gepatschalm and back along the traffic-free lakeside road. A real pleasure,
hiking simply makes you happy.
The Kaunertal combines nature, history and panoramic views. The barrier-free ‘Adlerblick’ platform with Tyrol's largest wooden eagle offers a magnificent view.
The Tschinglstollen/Knappenlöcher circular hiking trail provides insights into ore mining in the 15th/16th century. The ‘Bergwerksblick’ platform completes the experience.

Another highlight! From the dam wall of the Gepatsch reservoir, the trail leads out of the valley up to the Rostiz hunting lodge. A must for all mountain lovers, you will be rewarded with an impressive mountain landscape -
depending on the weather, you can also observe chamois there.
can be reached in half an hour from the Kaunertal Glacier Road. From the clear lakes you have an excellent view of the Weißseespitze. You can descend to the Gepatsch-Alm or take the same way back.
The tour through the Verpeilschlucht gorge to the Adlerblick and on to the Verpeilhütte offers breathtaking views and is a delight for nature lovers.
A Kaiserschmarrn as a reward is the crowning glory, and the way back via the Knappensteig rounds off the experience.
For guests with less physical fitness, we can recommend a more leisurely journey by car or hiking bus to the Verpeil Alm.

The hike from the Gepatschhaus via the Wannet offers breathtaking views of the Gepatschferner. The somewhat steeper ascent is pleasant and the view of the glacier is magnificent. After a well-earned break, you return via the Ödgrube, past alpine high landscapes.
